Job Description
We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Cybersecurity Analyst to join our growing security team in Indianapolis. Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security events and alerts using SIEM tools to identify potential threats in real-time.
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and manage the remediation lifecycle for identified security gaps.
- Support incident response activities, including forensic analysis, containment, and post-incident reporting.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory frameworks such as SOC 2, HIPAA, and NIST.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive security policies, procedures, and technical documentation.
- Collaborate with IT and engineering teams to implement secure coding practices and secure infrastructure designs.
- Stay current on emerging cybersecurity threats and recommend proactive defense measures.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in cybersecurity, network security, or information assurance.
- Certifications such as CISSP, Security+, CEH, or GCIH are highly preferred.
- Strong understanding of network protocols, firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPNs, and endpoint protection.
- Experience with scripting languages (Python or PowerShell) is a strong plus.
- Proficiency in SIEM platforms (e.g., Splunk, QRadar) and log analysis tools.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
