Responsibilities
- Monitor SIEM platforms (Splunk/QRadar) for security incidents and anomalies
- Conduct threat hunting using MITRE ATT&CK framework and threat intelligence feeds
- Lead incident response procedures including containment, eradication, and recovery
- Perform vulnerability assessments and penetration testing using Nessus/Burp Suite
- Develop and maintain security dashboards for executive reporting
- Collaborate with IT teams on security architecture improvements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years in SOC operations or incident response
- CompTIA Security+/CISSP/CISA certifications required
- Proficiency in SIEM tools, IDS/IPS, and network security protocols
- Strong knowledge of Windows/Linux systems and cloud security (AWS/Azure)
- Experience with incident response frameworks (NIST SP 800-61)
- Excellent analytical and communication skills
