Responsibilities
- Monitor SIEM platforms 24/7 to detect and respond to security incidents
- Conduct forensic investigations and root cause analysis for breaches
- Implement security controls and optimize vulnerability management
- Develop incident response playbooks and conduct tabletop exercises
- Collaborate with IT teams to harden network defenses
- Generate executive security reports and threat intelligence briefings
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity or IT-related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of hands-on security operations experience
- CompTIA Security+ or CISSP certification required
- Proficiency in SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar) and EDR solutions
- Strong understanding of NIST frameworks and compliance standards
- Excellent analytical skills and threat-hunting capabilities
