Responsibilities
- Monitor SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar) for anomalous activity and security incidents
- Conduct forensic investigations and root cause analysis of security breaches
- Develop and maintain security automation scripts using Python/PowerShell
- Collaborate with incident response teams during active cyber attacks
- Generate comprehensive security reports and executive summaries
- Implement NIST and ISO 27001 security controls and frameworks
- Perform vulnerability assessments and penetration testing exercises
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in SOC operations or threat detection
- CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or GIAC certification preferred
- Proficiency with SIEM tools and threat intelligence platforms
- Experience with network security protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/S)
- Strong knowledge of MITRE ATT&CK framework
- Ability to work rotating shifts in a 24/7 operational environment
