What You’ll Do

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor and analyze security alerts using SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, QRadar) to identify and mitigate potential threats in real-time.
  • Conduct thorough investigations into security incidents, perform root cause analysis, and execute incident response procedures.
  • Perform vulnerability assessments, penetration testing support, and manage patching cycles for operating systems and applications.
  • Enforce corporate security policies and ensure compliance with regulatory standards such as NIST, ISO 27001, and HIPAA.
  • Collaborate with IT operations and engineering teams to design and implement security controls and secure architecture.
  • Produce comprehensive security reports and metrics for stakeholders to demonstrate the effectiveness of security controls.

What You’ll Need

  • Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of professional experience in a Security Operations Center (SOC) or as a Security Analyst.
  • Experience with SIEM, EDR, and threat intelligence platforms is highly preferred.
  • Certifications such as Security+, CEH, GCIH, or CISSP are a strong plus.
  • Deep understanding of network protocols, Windows/Linux administration, and cloud security (AWS/Azure).
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to communicate complex technical findings to non-technical audiences.
