Responsibilities
- Monitor, detect, and respond to security incidents using SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar)
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on client networks
- Develop and maintain security documentation (playbooks, runbooks)
- Collaborate with incident response teams during breach investigations
- Implement security controls and compliance frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001)
- Perform log analysis and threat hunting for emerging attack vectors
- Provide security awareness training to client stakeholders
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in SOC operations or security analysis
- CISSP, CISA, or CompTIA Security+ certification required
- Expertise in threat intelligence platforms (Mandiant, Recorded Future)
- Strong knowledge of network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/S)
- Experience with EDR solutions (CrowdStrike, SentinelOne)
- Proficient in scripting (Python, PowerShell) for automation
- Active TS/SCI clearance preferred
