Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts using SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar)
- Conduct incident response investigations and forensic analysis
- Develop and implement threat detection strategies
- Generate executive-level security reports and dashboards
- Collaborate with penetration testing teams on vulnerability remediation
- Stay current with emerging threats via threat intelligence feeds
- Lead security awareness training sessions for staff
Qualifications
- 3+ years of hands-on cybersecurity experience in SOC environments
- Industry certifications: CISSP, CompTIA Security+, or GIAC preferred
- Expertise in network security protocols (TCP/IP, IDS/IPS, firewalls)
- Proficiency in scripting (Python, PowerShell) for automation
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Experience with threat intelligence platforms (Mandiant, Recorded Future)
- Ability to work rotating shifts in 24/7 operations environment
