As a Cloud Engineer at Apex, you will play a pivotal role in architecting and maintaining our robust cloud infrastructure, ensuring high availability and security for our clients.
Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and manage scalable cloud infrastructure on AWS and Azure, ensuring high availability and performance.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration management using Terraform and Ansible.
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to streamline application delivery and deployment processes.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot complex issues in multi-cloud environments.
- Implement and enforce security best practices and compliance standards (e.g., SOC2, GDPR) across all cloud assets.
- Collaborate with development teams to optimize application performance and reduce cloud costs.
- Conduct regular audits and capacity planning to support business growth.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; or equivalent work experience.
- Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience as a Cloud Engineer or Solutions Architect.
- Strong proficiency with major cloud providers (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Expert knowledge of containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience with scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or Go.
- Strong understanding of networking concepts, security protocols, and virtualization.
