Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure using AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
- Automate provisioning and configuration management using tools like Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot complex issues, and implement proactive solutions to ensure 99.99% uptime.
- Develop and enforce security best practices, compliance standards, and disaster recovery plans.
- Collaborate with DevOps and development teams to integrate CI/CD pipelines and improve software delivery workflows.
- Optimize cloud costs and resource allocation to maximize efficiency.
- Conduct regular audits and assessments of cloud environments to identify vulnerabilities and areas for improvement.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
- 3+ years of professional experience as a Cloud Engineer or Solutions Architect.
- Strong proficiency in at least one major cloud provider (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) and orchestration tools.
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
- Valid cloud certification (e.g., AWS Solutions Architect Associate, Azure Administrator) is highly preferred.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, agile environment.
