The Role:
As a Cloud Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, deploying, and managing scalable cloud solutions on major platforms. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive innovation and ensure system reliability.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and manage cloud infrastructure on AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Automate deployment processes using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform and Ansible.
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement security best practices.
- Collaborate with DevOps and development teams to improve CI/CD pipelines.
- Conduct regular system audits and optimize cloud resource usage for cost efficiency.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineering staff.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 3+ years of professional experience as a Cloud Engineer or DevOps Engineer.
- Strong proficiency in Linux, Python, or Bash scripting.
- Deep knowledge of containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience with database management systems (SQL and NoSQL).
