Responsibilities
- Design & Architecture: Design, deploy, and manage scalable, highly available cloud infrastructure using AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
- Automation & CI/CD: Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions to automate deployment processes.
- Security & Compliance: Implement security best practices, IAM policies, and ensure compliance with industry standards (SOC2, HIPAA) within the cloud environment.
- Monitoring & Optimization: Monitor system performance, troubleshoot complex issues, and optimize cloud resource costs and efficiency.
- Collaboration: Work closely with DevOps and Software Development teams to integrate cloud services into application lifecycles.
- Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, architecture diagrams, and runbooks.
Qualifications
- Experience: 5+ years of experience as a Cloud Engineer or DevOps Engineer.
- Cloud Expertise: Deep knowledge of at least one major cloud provider (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Certifications: Professional Cloud Architect or similar certifications are highly preferred.
- Scripting: Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
- Containerization: Strong experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Networking: Solid understanding of networking concepts, TCP/IP, DNS, and VPN technologies.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
