Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable cloud infrastructure on AWS/Azure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles
- Optimize cloud resource utilization and cost management strategies across multi-cloud environments
- Automate deployment pipelines using CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions
- Implement robust security frameworks including IAM policies, network security groups, and compliance monitoring
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to troubleshoot complex cloud incidents and implement preventive measures
- Conduct capacity planning and performance tuning for cloud-native applications and services
- Maintain documentation of architecture decisions, procedures, and best practices
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with AWS/Azure services (EC2, S3, Lambda, Azure VMs, Functions)
- Expertise in Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, ARM templates)
- Strong scripting skills in Python, PowerShell, or Bash for automation
- Experience with container orchestration (Kubernetes, EKS, AKS) and containerization (Docker)
- Proven track record in implementing CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
- Cloud security certifications (AWS Security Specialty, Azure Security Engineer preferred)
