Responsibilities
- Design and implement AWS/Azure/GCP infrastructure-as-code solutions using Terraform and CloudFormation
- Automate deployment pipelines with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions
- Monitor and optimize cloud environments for performance, security, and cost efficiency
- Lead migration projects from on-premises to cloud platforms with minimal downtime
- Develop and maintain cloud security frameworks, including IAM policies and compliance controls
- Provide technical mentorship to junior engineers and document best practices
- Collaborate with DevOps and security teams to ensure robust, scalable architectures
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with major cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP)
- Expertise in infrastructure automation tools (Terraform, Ansible, Packer)
- Strong scripting skills (Python, PowerShell, or Bash) for cloud automation
- Experience with container orchestration (Kubernetes, Docker Swarm)
- Certifications (AWS/Azure/GCP) preferred but not required
- Knowledge of network security principles and cloud security best practices
- Ability to troubleshoot complex cloud infrastructure issues under pressure
