Responsibilities
- Design and implement robust cloud infrastructure on AWS/GCP/Azure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles
- Automate deployment pipelines using CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI) and container orchestration (Kubernetes)
- Optimize cloud costs and performance through continuous monitoring and architectural improvements
- Lead cloud migration projects for legacy systems with zero-downtime requirements
- Develop disaster recovery plans and implement security best practices (IAM, VPC, encryption)
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to our cloud excellence framework
Qualifications
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with major cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) and relevant certifications
- Expertise in infrastructure automation (Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible)
- Strong programming skills in Python, Go, or Bash for scripting and tool development
- Proven track record of architecting multi-tier cloud applications with microservices
- Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and serverless technologies
- Deep knowledge of cloud security frameworks and compliance standards (SOC2, ISO 27001)
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent technical experience
