Responsibilities
- Design and implement cloud infrastructure using IaC tools (Terraform, CloudFormation)
- Optimize cloud environments for performance, security, and cost-efficiency
- Automate deployment pipelines using CI/CD methodologies (Jenkins, GitLab)
- Monitor and troubleshoot cloud systems with APM tools (Datadog, New Relic)
- Collaborate with DevOps teams on container orchestration (Kubernetes, Docker)
- Implement robust security protocols and compliance frameworks
- Document architecture and create runbooks for operational excellence
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- 3+ years of hands-on cloud engineering experience
- Expertise in AWS/Azure/GCP with 2+ certifications
- Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash, PowerShell)
- Strong understanding of networking fundamentals (VPC, VPN, Load Balancing)
- Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and containerization
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
