Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot LAN, WAN, and wireless network hardware and software.
- Monitor network performance to ensure optimal throughput and reliability.
- Manage and configure routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs.
- Perform routine network audits, security assessments, and vulnerability testing.
- Provide Level 2 and Level 3 technical support to internal staff and customers.
- Document network configurations, changes, and troubleshooting procedures.
- Collaborate with the IT team to plan and execute network upgrades and migrations.
Qualifications
- Associate degree or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) certification is highly preferred.
- Proven experience with TCP/IP, VLANs, routing protocols (OSPF, BGP), and subnetting.
- Familiarity with network monitoring tools (e.g., SolarWinds, Wireshark) and remote access technologies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a detail-oriented approach.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for client interactions.
