Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive AI ethics frameworks for autonomous systems and generative AI
- Collaborate with engineers to implement bias mitigation algorithms in production systems
- Lead cross-functional ethics audits for AI product lifecycle management
- Design stakeholder engagement protocols for public AI deployment transparency
- Author industry position papers on emerging AI ethical challenges
- Establish KPIs for ethical AI performance and continuous improvement
Qualifications
- PhD in Ethics, Philosophy, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years developing AI governance frameworks in regulated industries
- Published research on algorithmic bias or AI ethics (IEEE/ACM preferred)
- Experience with NIST AI Risk Management Framework implementation
- Strong background in cross-cultural ethical standards and global AI regulations
- Expertise in stakeholder communication for technical ethical concepts
- Proficiency in Python for ethical AI tool development
