Responsibilities
- Develop and implement AI ethics governance frameworks for 2026 product roadmaps
- Conduct bias audits and impact assessments on machine learning models
- Lead cross-functional ethics committees with engineering, legal, and compliance teams
- Establish transparent documentation protocols for AI decision-making processes
- Advocate for ethical AI standards in industry forums and regulatory discussions
- Mentor teams on responsible AI development practices and ethical data usage
- Monitor emerging AI regulations and adapt compliance strategies proactively
Qualifications
- PhD in Ethics, Philosophy, Computer Science, or related field with 5+ years AI ethics experience
- Expertise in bias mitigation techniques and fairness metrics for ML systems
- Deep understanding of global AI regulations (EU AI Act, NIST frameworks)
- Proven track record of implementing ethics-by-design principles in tech products
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex ethical concepts to stakeholders
- Experience with responsible AI tools (IBM AI Fairness 360, Google What-If Tool)
- Published research on AI ethics or technology ethics in peer-reviewed journals
