Responsibilities
- Develop and implement AI ethics policies and governance frameworks aligned with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct risk assessments and ethical audits of AI systems to identify potential biases and vulnerabilities.
- Collaborate with engineering, product, and legal teams to ensure ethical considerations are integrated into the AI development lifecycle.
- Stay abreast of emerging trends, regulations, and ethical guidelines in AI and provide guidance to stakeholders.
- Lead the creation of transparency and explainability initiatives for AI models and systems.
- Advocate for ethical AI within the organization and represent Nexus Innovations in external forums and discussions.
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Ethics, Law, or a related field. PhD is a plus.
- At least 5 years of experience in AI, machine learning, or a related field, with a focus on ethics, governance, or compliance.
- Deep understanding of ethical principles in AI, including fairness, accountability, transparency, and privacy.
- Familiarity with AI regulations and standards (e.g., EU AI Act, NIST AI RMF, ISO/IEC 42001).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to navigate complex ethical dilemmas.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Proven track record of developing and implementing governance frameworks or policies in a tech environment.
