Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive AI ethics frameworks for autonomous systems, generative AI, and predictive analytics
- Lead cross-functional governance committees to establish transparent AI decision-making protocols
- Conduct risk assessments for AI deployment across healthcare, finance, and public sectors
- Partner with legal teams to ensure compliance with emerging AI regulations (EU AI Act, US AI Bill of Rights)
- Design audit mechanisms for algorithmic bias mitigation and explainability
- Represent the company at global AI ethics summits and policy forums
- Mentor junior researchers on responsible AI development practices
Qualifications
- PhD or Master's in Ethics, Philosophy, Computer Science, or related field with 5+ years AI governance experience
- Proven track record of implementing ethical AI frameworks in enterprise environments
- Expertise in bias detection/mitigation techniques and algorithmic transparency methods
- Deep understanding of global AI regulations (GDPR, CCPA, upcoming AI legislation)
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex ethical concepts to technical/non-technical audiences
- Published research in AI ethics or related peer-reviewed journals preferred
- Experience with NIST AI Risk Management Framework and ISO/IEC 42001 standards
