Responsibilities
- Develop and implement ethical governance frameworks for AI systems deployed in high-stakes environments
- Conduct horizon-scanning research on emerging technologies (quantum computing, biotech, AGI) and their societal implications
- Design scenario-planning models to help organizations prepare for 2026+ technological disruptions
- Create audit protocols for bias mitigation and algorithmic transparency in autonomous systems
- Lead stakeholder workshops on ethical AI adoption with Fortune 500 companies and government agencies
- Author thought leadership publications on the future of human-AI symbiosis
- Advise product development teams on ethical-by-design principles
- Monitor global regulatory developments and propose compliance strategies
Qualifications
- PhD in Philosophy, Computer Science, Ethics, or Future Studies with 5+ years applied research
- Expertise in AI ethics frameworks (Asilomar Principles, EU AI Act, NIST RMF)
- Proven track record in scenario planning and technology forecasting methodologies
- Experience developing ethical guidelines for autonomous systems or generative AI
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex concepts to diverse audiences
- Published research in peer-reviewed journals on AI ethics or technology futures
- Proficiency in ethical auditing tools and bias detection algorithms
- Understanding of quantum computing, synthetic biology, or neurotech implications
