- Architect strategic innovation roadmaps aligning with 5-year corporate vision
- Conduct scenario planning for tech disruption in AI, quantum computing, and biotech
- Partner with product teams to integrate future technologies into commercial offerings
- Present future tech insights to executive stakeholders and industry forums
- Manage $5M+ innovation budget for prototyping and experimental projects
- Build and lead cross-functional futurist task force
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D leadership, or futurist consulting
- Proven track record of launching future-focused tech initiatives
- Expertise in emerging tech: quantum computing, AGI, or synthetic biology
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futures Studies
- Published thought leadership in tech futurism (patents, journals, keynotes)
- Experience with scenario planning and technology impact assessment frameworks
- Certification in Futures Thinking or Strategic Foresight (e.g., CFTE, CFT)
