- Lead cross-functional R&D initiatives bridging academic research and commercial applications
- Design frameworks for ethical AI governance and responsible innovation deployment
- Partner with C-suite executives to align technology investments with business vision
- Author thought leadership publications on future technology trends and societal impacts
- Mentor emerging tech talent through Horizon Labs' future-focused incubator program
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futurism with 8+ years industry experience
- Proven track record in technology strategy consulting or corporate innovation leadership
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum computing, AGI, or biotech)
- Published research on future technology implications (IEEE, ACM, or Nature journals)
- Experience with scenario planning and horizon scanning methodologies
- Strong background in ethical technology frameworks and policy development
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex concepts to diverse stakeholders
