You'll conduct horizon scanning, develop scenario plans, and lead innovation sprints to prototype solutions for markets that don't yet exist.
Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging tech trends (2024-2026) to identify disruptive opportunities
- Develop 3-5 year technology roadmaps aligned with market evolution
- Lead innovation workshops with R&D and product teams
- Build strategic partnerships with academic labs and startups
- Translate complex technical concepts into executive-level insights
- Conduct competitive analysis in future-facing domains
- Present strategic recommendations to C-suite and board members
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy or R&D leadership
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum, AI, biotech, etc.)
- Proven track record of launching innovative products/services
- Strong analytical skills with data-driven decision making
- Experience with scenario planning and futures methodologies
- Exceptional communication and executive presentation skills
- Published thought leadership in technology publications
