Responsibilities
- Develop and implement the 2026-2031 technology innovation framework
- Analyze emerging tech trends (quantum, AGI, biotech) for commercial viability
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping next-gen solutions
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic labs and startups
- Create competitive advantage through patent strategy and IP development
- Present quarterly tech roadmaps to C-suite and board stakeholders
- Mentor junior futurists and build innovation pipelines
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy or R&D leadership
- Proven track record in emerging tech commercialization
- Expertise in at least two future-tech domains (quantum/AI/biotech)
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science, Physics, or Engineering
- Published thought leadership in tech journals or conferences
- Experience scaling innovation teams in high-growth environments
- Strong understanding of ethical tech governance frameworks
