Responsibilities
- Architect strategic technology roadmaps targeting 2026 market disruptions
- Lead cross-functional R&D initiatives in AI, quantum, and biotech convergence
- Identify and patent emerging technology applications with $500M+ market potential
- Develop predictive models for technological adoption and regulatory impacts
- Present futuristic visions to C-suite and venture capital partners
- Mentor junior futurists and build an internal innovation incubator
- Author thought leadership pieces in top-tier tech publications
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning or emerging tech R&D
- PhD or Master's in Computer Science, Physics, or Bioengineering
- Proven track record of commercializing futuristic technologies
- Deep expertise in at least two of: quantum algorithms, AGI ethics, neurotech
- Published research in IEEE Nature or equivalent tier journals
- Experience securing $10M+ in government/private innovation grants
- Fluency in 3+ programming languages (Python, Rust, etc.)
- Exceptional public speaking skills for executive/board presentations
