Responsibilities
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing next-gen prototypes for 2026 technology roadmap
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify emerging tech trends with 5-10 year impact
- Design scalable architecture for quantum-AI hybrid systems
- Present strategic tech roadmaps to C-suite and board stakeholders
- Collaborate with MIT and Stanford on joint research initiatives
- Mentor junior researchers in ethical tech deployment
- Secure $5M+ in annual R&D funding through proposal development
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Quantum Physics, or related field
- 10+ years experience in emerging tech leadership roles
- Published research in Nature/Science journals or equivalent
- Expertise in at least two of: quantum algorithms, neuromorphic computing, climate tech
- Proven track record of commercializing futuristic technologies
- Deep understanding of ethical AI frameworks and regulatory landscapes
- Exceptional communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences
