Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain the 2026 Strategic Foresight Framework using horizon scanning, scenario planning, and quantitative modeling
- Lead cross-functional workshops to synthesize insights from AI, biotech, climate science, and geopolitical shifts
- Produce executive-ready future-state briefs with actionable recommendations for board-level decisions
- Establish early-warning systems for emerging risks and opportunities in the 2026 innovation landscape
- Partner with product teams to embed future-proofing principles into R&D pipelines
- Represent Nexus at global foresight forums (e.g., World Economic Forum, Davos)
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or future studies with demonstrable 5+ year horizon work
- Expertise in systemic trend analysis, scenario development, and strategic roadmapping methodologies
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or related quantitative/qualitative field
- Portfolio showcasing 3+ high-impact future-state projects with measurable outcomes
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies (quantum computing, synthetic biology, etc.)
- Exceptional communication skills translating complex futures into compelling narratives
- Proficiency in foresight tools (e.g., Causal Layered Analysis, Delphi method)
