Responsibilities
- Architect 10-year strategic foresight frameworks using horizon scanning, trend analysis, and scenario planning methodologies
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype solutions for 2026+ challenges in climate resilience, neurotech, and AI ethics
- Develop patent-pending future-state models using proprietary predictive analytics and quantum simulation tools
- Partner with Stanford/MIT research labs to incubate breakthrough technologies with 7+ year commercialization horizons
- Present strategic blueprints to Fortune 500 clients and governmental innovation councils
- Mentor a team of futurists and data scientists in next-generation strategic foresight techniques
Qualifications
- 15+ years in strategic foresight, innovation management, or advanced R&D leadership with proven impact beyond 5-year horizons
- Deep expertise in exponential technologies: quantum computing, synthetic biology, and AGI governance frameworks
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed futurist journals or top-tier industry publications
- Experience advising C-suite executives on paradigm shifts and disruption preparedness
- Mastery of strategic foresight methodologies: Delphi, causal layered analysis, and anticipatory governance
- PhD or equivalent in Futures Studies, Systems Theory, or a hard science with applied foresight experience
- Portfolio of implemented strategies with measurable impact on multi-billion dollar markets
