Responsibilities
- Develop 3-5 year strategic technology roadmaps aligned with 2026 societal and business trends
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype quantum-AI hybrid systems
- Analyze emerging tech signals (neuro interfaces, synthetic biology, quantum computing) for competitive advantage
- Design human-centric frameworks for ethical deployment of autonomous systems
- Present future scenarios to C-suite and board members with data-driven impact assessments
- Mentor junior futurists in horizon scanning and trend synthesis methodologies
- Collaborate with R&D to validate 2026-ready prototypes in simulated future environments
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning or emerging tech innovation
- Expertise in at least two future-critical domains (quantum computing, synthetic biology, neurotech)
- Proven track record of translating foresight into commercialized solutions
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or Futures Studies
- Proficient in scenario planning tools and horizon scanning methodologies
- Published thought leadership on 2026 technology trends (IEEE, Nature Futures, etc.)
- Experience leading cross-continental innovation teams in agile environments
