Responsibilities
- Develop and implement forward-looking innovation roadmaps targeting 2026 technological inflection points
- Analyze emerging tech trends (quantum AI, biocomputing, decentralized systems) for commercial viability
- Lead ideation sprints with R&D, engineering, and product teams to prototype disruptive solutions
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions and emerging tech startups
- Present innovation frameworks to C-suite executives and board members
- Drive adoption of agile methodologies in long-term R&D planning
- Monitor patent landscapes and competitor innovation strategies
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futurism; PhD preferred
- 7+ years in tech strategy, R&D leadership, or innovation consulting
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum, neuromorphic, AR/VR 2.0)
- Proven track record of launching breakthrough products with 3+ exits or IPOs
- Published thought leadership in IEEE, Nature, or similar tier-1 journals
- Fluency in Python, TensorFlow, and simulation frameworks (Unity/Unreal)
- Strong network within DARPA, NSF, or equivalent innovation ecosystems
