Responsibilities
- Develop and execute innovation roadmaps targeting 2026+ market opportunities
- Analyze emerging technologies (quantum computing, synthetic biology, AGI) for commercial viability
- Lead cross-functional workshops to identify disruptive business models
- Produce forward-looking market simulations and trend impact reports
- Partner with C-suite executives to embed future-proof strategies
- Manage a $2M innovation incubation portfolio
- Represent FutureWorks at global tech foresight conferences
Qualifications
- 10+ years in innovation strategy or technology consulting
- Proven track record of launching future-focused products/services
- Expertise in scenario planning and horizon scanning methodologies
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or related field
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (blockchain, neuromorphic computing)
- Published thought leadership on 2025+ technological trends
- Certification in Foresight or Strategic Foresight methodologies
- Experience building innovation ecosystems with Fortune 500 clients
