Responsibilities
- Architect and execute 2026 innovation roadmap spanning quantum applications, climate-tech solutions, and neural interfaces
- Lead cross-functional teams of physicists, AI researchers, and sustainability experts to develop prototype technologies
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions and government labs for emerging technology validation
- Translate complex scientific concepts into commercially viable products with 3-5 year deployment horizons
- Secure $50M+ in R&D funding through federal grants and private equity partnerships
- Monitor global policy shifts affecting 2026 tech adoption and adapt strategy accordingly
- Mentor next-generation innovators through our FutureWorks Fellowship program
Qualifications
- PhD or equivalent in Quantum Computing, Bioengineering, or Systems Innovation (or 10+ years equivalent breakthrough experience)
- Proven track record of launching technologies with 2026+ market impact (e.g., quantum supremacy achievements, carbon-negative systems)
- Expertise in converging technologies: AI/ML, synthetic biology, and advanced materials science
- Deep understanding of geopolitical and ethical frameworks for 2026 technology deployment
- Exceptional ability to communicate complex innovations to C-suite executives and policymakers
- Published research in Nature/Science or equivalent peer-reviewed journals on future technologies
