Responsibilities
- Architect and execute the 2026 technology roadmap, integrating quantum computing, AI ethics frameworks, and next-gen cybersecurity protocols
- Lead cross-functional teams to prototype and validate emerging technologies (neural interfaces, synthetic biology, quantum-secure communications)
- Develop strategic partnerships with academic institutions and research labs for breakthrough innovations
- Present quarterly innovation briefings to C-suite and board members, translating complex tech into actionable business strategies
- Manage the innovation pipeline from ideation through MVP launch, ensuring alignment with long-term market trends
- Mentor a team of 8-12 specialists in emerging technologies, fostering a culture of rapid experimentation
- Monitor global tech policy shifts and regulatory landscapes to ensure compliance and competitive advantage
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology leadership with 5+ years in emerging tech strategy or R&D management
- Proven track record of launching at least two breakthrough technologies to market
- Expertise in quantum computing, AI ethics, or decentralized systems (demonstrated through publications or patents)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (PhD preferred)
- Exceptional strategic communication skills with ability to articulate complex concepts to diverse stakeholders
- Experience securing $5M+ in R&D funding or venture capital for experimental projects
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed journals or major tech publications
