Responsibilities
- Conduct horizon-scanning research on emerging technologies (quantum computing, AGI, biotech fusion) with 2026+ implications
- Develop strategic frameworks to evaluate technological disruption risks and opportunities
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align technical roadmaps with business objectives
- Produce actionable foresight reports for executive decision-making and investor communications
- Build and maintain an external network of futurists, academic researchers, and industry pioneers
- Champion innovation culture through internal hackathons and knowledge-sharing initiatives
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Technology, Futures Studies, Business Strategy, or related field (PhD/MSc preferred)
- 5+ years in strategic foresight, R&D strategy, or technology consulting
- Proven track record translating complex tech trends into business strategies
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum, AI, neurotech, etc.)
- Exceptional storytelling skills for communicating future scenarios to diverse audiences
- Certification in Futures Thinking (e.g., CFP, APF) or equivalent practical experience
- Portfolio demonstrating published foresight work or technology impact assessments
