Responsibilities
- Develop and publish annual '2026 Horizon Reports' analyzing disruptive technologies and their market implications
- Lead cross-functional 'Future Labs' workshops with engineering, marketing, and product teams
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions and innovation hubs worldwide
- Create scenario-based models for climate resilience, ethical AI governance, and human augmentation
- Present strategic recommendations to the board and executive stakeholders quarterly
- Curate an internal 'Future Intelligence' knowledge repository with trend data
- Represent the company at global futurist forums and technology summits
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Technology Policy, or equivalent field
- 8+ years of experience in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of publishing influential trend reports or white papers
- Expertise in systems thinking, scenario planning, and horizon scanning methodologies
- Deep knowledge of emerging technologies: AGI, synthetic biology, quantum computing, or space tech
- Exceptional communication skills with executive-level presentation experience
- Portfolio demonstrating past strategic impact on organizational transformation
- Certification in Strategic Foresight or Futures Studies preferred
