- Develop strategic frameworks for emerging domains (quantum computing, synthetic biology, neurotech)
- Lead cross-functional workshops with C-suite executives on future-proofing business models
- Author white papers and thought leadership pieces published in Future Horizons Journal
- Build and maintain a global network of futurists, scientists, and policy influencers
- Advise product development teams on long-term R&D priorities
- Present quarterly trend briefings to the board of directors
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related quantitative field
- 5+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or tech R&D leadership
- Published research on exponential technologies (AI/ML, quantum, synthetic biology)
- Proficiency in foresight methodologies (Delphi, Horizon Scanning, Causal Layered Analysis)
- Experience with scenario planning frameworks and trend visualization tools
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ successful future-strategy implementations
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., from University of Houston or Oxford)
