Responsibilities
- Analyze and forecast technological, social, and economic trends through 2026+ horizon scanning
- Develop strategic foresight frameworks for product innovation and market expansion
- Lead scenario planning workshops to identify disruptive opportunities and risks
- Partner with R&D teams to prototype future-facing solutions
- Deliver executive-level trend briefings and strategic recommendations
- Build and maintain a global network of futurists, academics, and industry disruptors
- Author thought leadership content positioning Horizon as a future-shaping authority
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futurism, Strategic Foresight, Technology Forecasting, or equivalent experience
- 5+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or trend analysis
- Proven expertise in horizon scanning and scenario planning methodologies
- Deep knowledge of emerging technologies (AI, quantum, biotech, climate tech)
- Exceptional storytelling and data visualization skills
- Experience translating foresight into executable business strategies
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (preferred)
- Portfolio demonstrating trend analysis and strategic recommendations
