Responsibilities
- Anticipate and analyze emerging global trends through horizon scanning and predictive modeling
- Develop strategic frameworks for adoption of breakthrough technologies (quantum computing, neurotech, etc.)
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align stakeholders on 2026 innovation priorities
- Author forward-looking white papers and scenario-planning documents
- Partner with R&D to prototype future-proof business models
- Monitor geopolitical and socioeconomic shifts affecting long-term strategy
- Present visionary insights to executive board and investor communities
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related field
- Minimum 7 years in strategic planning or innovation consulting
- Proven expertise in trend analysis and scenario planning methodologies
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, biotech, quantum)
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex concepts
- Experience with horizon scanning tools (e.g., Trend Hunter, Gartner)
- Published thought leadership in futurism or strategy publications
- Certification in Strategic Foresight preferred
