Responsibilities
- Architect 2026 innovation roadmap by analyzing emerging tech trends (quantum computing, neurotech, climate AI)
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing prototype solutions for future societal challenges
- Partner with C-suite executives to align futuristic projects with business strategy
- Present visionary concepts to investors and industry stakeholders at global forums
- Monitor regulatory shifts affecting future tech adoption (e.g., AI governance frameworks)
- Mentor junior futurists in scenario planning and horizon scanning methodologies
- Secure $5M+ annual R&D funding through compelling innovation proposals
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Technology Innovation, Futures Studies, or related field
- 8+ years experience in strategic planning or emerging tech development
- Proven track record delivering futuristic products to market (e.g., AR/VR, blockchain)
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum, AI, biotech)
- Exceptional scenario planning and horizon scanning capabilities
- Strong stakeholder management with executive/board experience
- Published thought leadership in tech futurism (white papers, TED talks)
- Portfolio of 3+ future-focused projects launched in the past 5 years
