Responsibilities
- Analyze global megatrends, technological disruptions, and behavioral shifts to identify opportunities and threats for 2026+ landscape
- Develop and implement strategic innovation roadmaps with 3-5 year horizons, integrating AI, quantum computing, and biotech convergence
- Lead cross-functional scenario-planning workshops for C-suite executives and board members
- Establish and maintain a global network of futurists, technologists, and industry disruptors
- Author thought leadership publications and present at premier future-focused conferences
- Design and launch experimental innovation initiatives with $1M+ annual budgets
- Mentor a team of 3-5 junior futurists and innovation specialists
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 7+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurist role at Fortune 500 or tech unicorn
- Proven track record of developing and executing multi-year innovation roadmaps
- Deep expertise in emerging technologies: AI/ML, quantum computing, synthetic biology, and spatial computing
- Exceptional scenario planning and systems thinking capabilities
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed futurist journals or top-tier tech publications
- Experience leading high-budget innovation initiatives ($500K+ annually)
