Responsibilities
- Lead horizon-scanning initiatives to identify disruptive technologies and societal shifts impacting 2026+ landscapes
- Develop and publish annual 'State of 2026' strategic foresight reports with actionable recommendations
- Design cross-functional innovation roadmaps for quantum computing, AI ethics, and sustainable futures
- Facilitate executive workshops on scenario planning and long-term strategic pivots
- Establish partnerships with MIT Media Lab, Singularity University, and other future-focused institutions
- Present findings to Fortune 500 boards and government innovation councils
- Mentor a team of futurist researchers and data scientists
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or C-suite strategy roles
- Proven track record of published trend analysis or future scenario frameworks
- Expertise in exponential technologies (quantum, AI, biotech) and their societal implications
- Exceptional storytelling skills with executive presentation experience
- Proficiency in futures research methodologies (Delphi, horizon scanning, backcasting)
- Global network of futurists, technologists, and policy influencers
