Responsibilities
- Anticipate and analyze global megatrends (2024-2026) across AI, biotech, climate tech, and human augmentation
- Develop scenario-planning frameworks for organizational resilience in volatile futures
- Collaborate with C-suite to embed foresight into product development and corporate strategy
- Lead cross-functional 'Future Labs' to prototype next-gen solutions
- Author thought leadership publications and keynote at industry conferences
- Build and manage a network of futurists, technologists, and academic partners
- Quantify future market opportunities and risks through data-driven modeling
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 7+ years in innovation strategy, consulting, or R&D with Fortune 500 exposure
- Proven track record of translating foresight into commercial initiatives
- Expertise in trend analysis, scenario planning, and horizon scanning methodologies
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies (quantum computing, AGI, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional storytelling skills with executive-level presentation experience
- Published author or recognized thought leader in future-focused domains
- Portfolio of strategic frameworks or future roadmaps delivered to organizations
