Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026 strategic foresight roadmap using horizon scanning, trend analysis, and scenario planning
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype solutions for emerging societal and technological challenges
- Establish governance frameworks for ethical AI adoption and sustainable technology integration
- Partner with product teams to embed future-proofing principles into development lifecycles
- Deliver executive briefings and thought leadership presentations on disruptive megatrends
- Build and mentor a high-performing futurist team with diverse expertise in emerging technologies
- Author annual 'State of the Future' reports influencing $500M+ investment decisions
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation management, or future-focused leadership roles
- Proven expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and horizon scanning methodologies
- Deep understanding of emerging technologies (quantum computing, generative AI, biotech)
- Exceptional communication skills with executive stakeholders and technical teams
- Published thought leadership in futurism or technology strategy (articles, books, keynotes)
- Experience scaling innovation programs in enterprise environments ($1B+ revenue)
- MBA or advanced degree in Futures Studies, Technology Policy, or related field
- Portfolio demonstrating impact from future-proofing initiatives
