Responsibilities
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing 5-10 year innovation roadmaps for quantum computing, AI ethics, and biotech convergence
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify emerging technologies with transformative potential
- Design and implement future-proofing strategies for enterprise digital transformation
- Present findings to executive stakeholders through compelling data visualizations and scenario planning
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and innovation labs
- Mentor junior futurists and build an internal foresight capability
- Drive adoption of emerging technologies through pilot programs and rapid prototyping
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Technology Management, or related field
- 7+ years in strategic innovation, R&D leadership, or futurist consulting
- Proven track record of developing long-term technology roadmaps
- Expertise in at least two emerging domains: quantum AI, synthetic biology, or decentralized systems
- Exceptional scenario planning and strategic foresight methodologies
- Published research or patents in future technology domains
- Experience presenting to C-suite and board-level stakeholders
- Certification in Futures Thinking or Technology Foresight preferred
