Responsibilities
- Develop 5-10 year strategic roadmaps for emerging technologies (quantum computing, synthetic biology, AGI)
- Lead cross-disciplinary innovation sprints to prototype breakthrough solutions
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and R&D labs
- Present visionary frameworks to C-suite and board stakeholders
- Monitor global tech trends and regulatory shifts affecting 2026+ ecosystems
- Mentor internal talent in futurist methodologies and strategic foresight
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic innovation, R&D leadership, or futurist consulting
- Proven track record of launching category-defining technologies
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (AI, quantum, biotech, etc.)
- Exceptional systems thinking and scenario planning capabilities
- PhD or equivalent in relevant field (preferred) with published thought leadership
- Experience advising Fortune 500 companies on long-term tech strategy
- Portfolio of executed innovation initiatives with measurable impact
