Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain robust Windows/Linux server environments supporting 500+ users
- Manage hybrid cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure) with emphasis on security best practices
- Lead disaster recovery planning and execute system backup/restore procedures
- Optimize network performance including VPN, firewall, and load balancing configurations
- Automate deployment processes using Ansible/Terraform and PowerShell scripting
- Provide Tier-3 support for complex system outages and security incidents
- Document infrastructure architecture and create operational runbooks
- Mentor junior IT staff and drive continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with Windows Server 2019/2022 and Active Directory
- Expertise in Linux administration (RHEL/CentOS) and scripting (Bash/Python)
- Certified in AWS/Azure or CompTIA Server+ preferred
- Proven track record with virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V) and container orchestration
- Strong understanding of network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP) and security frameworks
- Experience with monitoring tools (Nagios, Zabbix) and log management (ELK stack)
- Ability to work flexible hours including on-call rotation for emergencies
- Excellent troubleshooting skills with capacity to manage multiple high-priority tasks
