Responsibilities
- Architect and implement cloud-native microservices using AWS/GCP
- Lead end-to-end development of RESTful APIs and real-time data pipelines
- Mentor junior engineers through code reviews and pair programming
- Optimize system performance and implement robust CI/CD workflows
- Collaborate with product teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications
- Contribute to engineering best practices and conduct tech stack evaluations
- Participate in agile ceremonies and drive continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in backend development (Python/Java/Go)
- Expertise in containerization (Docker/Kubernetes) and orchestration
- Strong proficiency in relational (PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases
- Proven track record of designing scalable distributed systems
- Familiarity with event-driven architectures and message queues (RabbitMQ/Kafka)
- Experience with cloud deployment infrastructure (Terraform, CloudFormation)
- BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
- Portfolio demonstrating complex system design solutions
