Responsibilities
- Architect and implement high-performance 2D rendering engines using WebGL, Canvas API, and SVG.
- Optimize rendering pipelines to ensure 60fps performance across a wide range of devices and browsers.
- Develop and maintain physics engines and interactive toolkits for complex 2D applications.
- Collaborate with UI/UX designers to translate complex visual concepts into pixel-perfect, performant code.
- Debug complex rendering issues, memory leaks, and GPU optimization problems.
- Stay at the forefront of 2D graphics technology, experimenting with shaders (GLSL) and particle systems.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional experience in 2D graphics programming and web development.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related technical field.
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, and modern frameworks (React, Vue, or Angular).
- Deep knowledge of WebGL, GLSL, and hardware acceleration techniques.
- Experience with 2D game engines (Phaser, Pixi.js) or physics libraries (Matter.js).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to debug complex rendering scenarios.
