Responsibilities
- Provide tier 2 and tier 3 technical support for hardware, software, and network issues via phone, email, and in-person.
- Manage and maintain the local area network (LAN), wireless networks, and ensure optimal performance.
- Perform regular system backups, patch management, and security audits to protect company data.
- Onboard new hires by setting up workstations, configuring email accounts, and installing necessary software.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues with Microsoft 365, Azure, and Active Directory.
- Maintain accurate documentation of all incidents, resolutions, and IT procedures in the ticketing system.
- Collaborate with vendors and external partners to manage service contracts and hardware lifecycle.
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent work experience.
- Certification such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft 365 Certified is highly preferred.
- 3+ years of professional experience in IT support, help desk, or systems administration.
- Strong working knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, and Office 365.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose root causes quickly.
- Exceptional communication skills to translate technical jargon for non-technical staff.
- Ability to lift and move computer equipment and peripherals as required.
